Our Vision
At Global Teacher Consultants, we believe teaching can take you anywhere — not just professionally, but personally. The right opportunity doesn’t simply change your job; it can transform your life.
Our purpose is to expand what’s possible for teachers in the global education market. We exist to ensure educators feel informed, supported, and confident as they explore international pathways.
In a competitive and constantly evolving landscape, teachers deserve clarity, honest guidance, and real choice — not pressure or quick placements. When teachers are properly supported, the world truly becomes their classroom.
Our Approach
Global Teacher Consultants was built with one clear focus: to listen first, guide strategically, and position teachers for success internationally.
We are not simply a placement service — we are a personalised support system. Our work is centred on strengthening your professional profile, refining your applications, and preparing you to stand out confidently in interviews and competitive hiring processes.
We work closely with educators to:
- – Strengthen CVs and professional profiles
- – Refine applications with clarity and impact
- – Prepare strategically and confidently for interviews
- – Navigate international school systems
- – Expand long-term global career pathways.
- – Form positive and trusting relationships between top educators and top schools.
Relationships are at the heart of everything we do. We believe partnerships are cyclical — we listen, we learn, we adapt, and we continually refine our service based on the real experiences and ambitions of the teachers we support. As the international education market evolves, so do we — remaining flexible, responsive, and forward-thinking.
A Message From The Founder
James McCabe
As an educator with over thirteen years of experience teaching across Ireland, Vietnam, Australia, and the UAE, I have had the privilege of working within a wide range of educational systems, curricula, and cultural contexts. Holding a Bachelor of Education (Honours) and a First-Class Postgraduate Diploma in Educational Leadership and Management, I have always been passionate about professional growth, leadership, and supporting others within the profession. My own journey teaching abroad was incredibly rewarding — but the recruitment process was often complex, unclear, and at times misaligned with teachers’ best interests. I frequently felt that agencies were focused on filling roles rather than positioning teachers for the strongest opportunities and top-tier packages they deserved. I founded this service to change that. My mission is to provide honest guidance, informed insight, and personalised support to teachers who are considering or pursuing international roles — ensuring they feel confident, well-prepared, and truly valued as professionals as they take the next step in their careers.
